This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Oversee all facets of the protocol optimization process, including assembling project plans, team formation, and work assignments, while directing and monitoring work efforts, identifying resource requirements, conducting quality reviews, and appropriately escalating functional, quality, and timeline issues.

• Cultivate and manage relationships with investigators.

• Assist or act as the consultation lead to identify priority discussion topics with investigators for each consultation and organize a panel of expert consultants tailored to the specific needs of every project.

• Monitor consultations and manage associated documentation through signature and approval processes, distributing them as necessary.

• Implement project management processes and methodologies to ensure that consultations are finalized within the designated timeframe, uphold high-quality standards, and benefit investigative teams by facilitating a well-prepared grant application or seamless execution of consult/grant services.

• Act as a liaison and coordinate meetings between project stakeholders and leadership, maintaining professional documentation for projects and deliverables, developing Standard Operating Procedures as required, and assisting in the auditing and monitoring of established workflows and processes.

• Exercise professional judgment in managing information, being sensitive to the concerns of the project team, individuals, and all organizational levels.

• Utilize data, statistical and quantitative analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, and fact-based management to inform decision-making.

• Support investigators in gaining new insights and understanding of performance-based data during the consultation and grant production processes.

• Perform other assigned duties.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

• A minimum of five years of experience in clinical research within an academic, government, or pharmaceutical industry setting.

• Proficient knowledge of clinical research regulations (e.g., FDA, NIH, IRB) and grant submission processes.

• Additional education may be accepted in lieu of the required experience, and relevant experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, as permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

• Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.

• Certification as a Clinical Research Professional is preferred.

• Experience with data tracking, reporting, and research program metrics is preferred.

• Familiarity with REDCap, eIRB systems, SharePoint, or similar collaboration tools is preferred.
