Part Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations for clients through ongoing telemedicine services.

• Must be open to treating individuals aged 14 and older.

• Prescribe medications as necessary to alleviate mental health symptoms.

• Develop and collaborate with clients on individualized care plans.

• Complete and/or administer appropriate paperwork and assessment tools for clients.

• Comply with Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines.

• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff regarding clients, programs, and services across various locations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with Board Certification.

• A Master's degree in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state is required.

• Familiarity with AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is advantageous.

• Three years of experience is preferred; however, at least 1 year of psychiatric practice is mandatory.

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners must reside in the state where they will practice.

• Part-time availability requires 15 to 20 hours per week.

• All clinicians must complete in-house training on our ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and approach, followed by a brief examination.

• New hires will be enrolled in the ADHD Clinic and are expected to accept and treat ADHD clients, with no quotas on the number of clients or prescriptions.
