This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Implementing the Business Continuity (BC) strategy as established by the Head of Corporate BC and Regional BC managers.
• Collaborating with regional business teams to carry out business impact and risk assessments, pinpoint critical services, establish recovery objectives, and map essential dependencies.
• Assisting business teams in documenting BC plan requirements in the Corporate Continuity tool to ensure consistency and facilitate attestation.
• Partnering with the Business and the Global Real Estate and Facilities team to coordinate recovery strategies identified through the Business Continuity planning process.
• Leading business continuity exercises and tests to uncover potential gaps in plans and assess the effectiveness of work transference processes that support recovery efforts.
• Managing extensive data and generating insightful reports.
• Aiding in the launch and maintenance of tools and Points of Contact (POC) for conducting training sessions.
• Serving as a liaison with support teams to execute the program.
• Enhancing workplace resilience initiatives by collaborating with multiple stakeholders, including facilities, business continuity, information technology, security, and crisis management, to ensure seamless integration within the disaster response cycle, as necessary.
• Over 3 years of experience in implementing and managing corporate business continuity or risk management programs.
• Willingness to travel across assigned regions and internationally as required.
• Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field.
• Proficiency with commercial Business Continuity tools.
• Experience in managing and analyzing data from diverse sources to align with strategic objectives.
• Proven experience in responding to significant disruptive events.
• Ability to thoroughly analyze data, existing processes, personnel, and technology challenges to identify risks and opportunities.
• Strong interpersonal capabilities, including excellent written and verbal communication skills essential for building relationships and positively influencing decision-making.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines while juggling multiple complex projects.
• Certification from Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRII), Business Continuity Institute (BCI), or other relevant business continuity professional certification is a plus.
