Research Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Implement and enhance the Helm proprietary algorithmic toolkit for large-scale unsupervised learning and perception challenges.

• Diligently manage the development and upkeep of tools utilized in deep learning experiments aimed at delivering new functionalities for clients or addressing significant edge cases within the system.

• Collaborate closely with software and autonomous vehicle engineers to integrate algorithms onto both internal and customer vehicle platforms.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting to meet customer project deadlines.

• A reflective, thoughtful approach with a keen attention to detail.

• Proven experience with neural networks, as well as frameworks like TensorFlow and/or PyTorch.

• Proficiency in Python and a working understanding of C/C++ programming languages.

• A strong passion for unsupervised learning, computer vision, and/or the autonomous vehicle sector.

• A Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant field, and/or over 5 years of experience in a related area.
