This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +18 more states.
• Manage client relationships across accounts of various sizes.
• Develop research strategies that integrate Morning Consult data into clients’ workflows, while aligning with the broader growth objectives of the Research Solutions team.
• Cultivate strong connections with clients and executive stakeholders to promote account-level growth and ensure renewals.
• Collaborate closely with Account Executives (AEs) to pitch, price, and present proposals to clients.
• Oversee large, intricate research projects and programs both personally and through direct reports, ensuring the delivery of quality data and strategic insights to guide critical business decisions.
• Manage execution effectively to ensure alignment with the contracted scope of work.
• Implement best practices and processes to enhance efficiency.
• Broaden the existing foundation of research expertise by developing a highly specialized skill set related to methodologies and/or industry knowledge.
• Advise prospects and clients on research and survey design to yield the most meaningful data and answers to key business questions.
• Collaborate with other senior leaders to establish and implement strategic initiatives at the Portfolio- and/or Commercial-level.
• Coach and mentor both direct and indirect reports, providing crucial input for Continuous Performance Management and talent-related decisions.
• Delegate effectively and empower others to carry out tasks with accountability.
• Over 8 years of professional experience in quantitative market research.
• Demonstrated success with experience in survey research and its methods, offering strategic consultation, project planning, and delivering quality and timely project outcomes.
• Extensive experience in client management and driving account-level revenue growth.
• Strong skills in prioritization and delegation based on the scale of impact, with the ability to maintain focus on key business objectives during periods of change.
• An effective planner capable of guiding their team towards achieving long-term goals and clearly communicating strategic priorities and decisions.
• Ability to lead project teams to maximize output from available resources.
• Capability to mentor, coach, and develop top talent while promoting a positive work environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail with high technical standards.
• A creative problem solver who can simplify complex scenarios and challenges.
• Open to feedback, proactively identifies and raises inefficiencies and barriers to success.
