This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Acting as the primary research leader for all client projects within assigned accounts, with ultimate accountability for the success of research initiatives.
• Leading and documenting comprehensive project scoping to gain a thorough understanding of research goals and project context, ensuring project success.
• Serving as a strategic problem solver and research subject matter expert for clients, adept at proposing solutions to meet business and research requirements.
• Functioning as a solutions architect for clients, educating them on Knit’s research capabilities, consulting on fringe requirements, and proposing solutions to enhance project success.
• Managing, maintaining, and enriching all customer context to better align Knit’s offerings with clients' unique research needs.
• Contributing to ongoing innovation in Knit’s AI product to reduce the gap between AI-generated outputs and those produced by human researchers.
• Acting as the final reviewer and approver of all Knit’s final topline deliverables, directly presenting key insights and recommendations to clients.
• Leading feedback collection during the final project phase—documenting and uncovering what transpires from project delivery to the point of being “stakeholder ready,” supporting Knit’s product vision for stakeholder-ready reports.
• Effectively managing direct reports, ensuring they successfully fulfill their responsibilities and grow in their roles (People Management at Knit includes driving performance, ensuring clarity and accountability, hiring, onboarding, upskilling, performance management, conflict resolution, and morale building).
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in market research, predominantly on the supplier side within a market research agency environment.
• Experience in leading discovery and scoping discussions, crafting and editing quantitative and qualitative questionnaires from inception, drafting analysis plans, and generating and presenting stakeholder-ready topline insights and reports.
• Demonstrated ability to drive initiatives and achieve results in ambiguous situations, effectively navigating complex client needs and internal business changes. A proven track record in an early-stage startup (<50 employees) is advantageous.
• Proven experience in managing client relationships with Enterprise and Fortune 500 US-based companies, specifically collaborating with insights professionals to define and realize desired research outcomes, leading to client retention and growth.
• Capability to successfully drive initiatives and achieve outcomes in environments with competing priorities, handling multiple research projects simultaneously along with concurrent internal business demands.
• Effective People Manager, both cross-functionally and within teams—especially in promoting clarity and accountability, hiring, onboarding, performance management, conflict resolution, and team morale building.
