This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the daily operations of the SisterSong Research Team’s collection of community-based participatory research projects, which includes administrative duties, event assistance, reporting, data analysis, collection, documentation, and dissemination.
• Collaborate on identifying and applying for grants that will support the expanding initiatives and portfolio of the Research Team.
• Engage as a thought partner in the creation of new SisterSong research studies and collaborations.
• Foster the development of the research team by cultivating existing relationships and supporting the establishment of new partnerships.
• Act as a representative of SisterSong in various contexts, including restorative justice movements and research environments.
• Provide assistance as required for cross-departmental and all-staff events such as the Essence Festival of Culture, the Let’s Talk About Sex Conference, and Black (In)fertility Awareness Week.
• A Master’s degree in public health, social sciences, or a related field.
• Between two to five years of experience in conducting research studies related to reproductive justice, sexual and reproductive health, public health, family planning, or similar fields.
• Proven experience in leading qualitative research projects.
• A successful history of securing funding for research initiatives.
• Demonstrated involvement in reproductive health, rights, and justice through work or volunteer experience.
