This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct research and gain insights into healthcare system websites, databases, and reference materials while adhering to departmental and corporate guidelines.
• Investigate and document requested information pertaining to primary care physicians, dentists, specialists, eldercare services, nursing facilities, and related resources.
• Determine suitable benefit plans and offerings as needed.
• Deliver precise and comprehensible research findings to nurses, advocates, and internal stakeholders.
• Address member inquiries by providing clear and specific resources and available options.
• Input and uphold accurate documentation within internal systems.
• Assemble research outcomes in a user-friendly format to aid member decision-making.
• Monitor cases and perform timely follow-ups with members and providers.
• Ensure compliance of all work with quality standards, internal protocols, and relevant federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and COBRA.
• Observe recurring research issues or trends and escalate any concerns to leadership when necessary.
• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
• An associate degree in business, liberal arts, healthcare management, or a related discipline is preferred.
• A minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare-related role is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional telephone etiquette.
• Excellent listening abilities with a knack for understanding and clarifying requests.
• Robust problem-solving and issue-resolution capabilities.
• Outstanding customer service skills and a dedication to quality.
• Solid organizational and multitasking abilities, inclusive of consistent follow-up.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and web-based research tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish or other languages) may be required depending on the assignment.
• Capability to operate in a home office setting with suitable lighting, a computer, and phone access.
• Strong concentration, attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
