Research Assistant – Student Worker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in a faculty-led research initiative focused on the lived experiences of women of color who are Marriage and Family Therapists.

• Contribute to literature reviews and the systematic organization of academic resources.

• Aid in the recruitment, screening, and scheduling of participant interviews.

• Help with transcription, de-identification, and the secure management of data.

• Support the coding of qualitative data and the identification of emerging themes.

• Keep research logs, documentation, and project materials updated.

• Engage in research team meetings and actively participate in project-related activities.

• Assist in the preparation of research summaries, presentations, and scholarly documents.

• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to IRB, research ethics, data security, and University regulations.

• Complete mandatory training on research practices and confidentiality.

• Undertake additional research-related tasks as directed by the Principal Investigator.

• Must be a student currently enrolled and attending classes.

• Both undergraduate and graduate students from any program or school are eligible.

• Students may be full-time or part-time.

• Completion of required training related to research and confidentiality is necessary.

• Must maintain confidentiality and comply with IRB, research ethics, data security, and University guidelines.

• Capability to assist in literature reviews and the organization of scholarly materials.

• Ability to support the recruitment, screening, and scheduling of participants for interviews.

• Proficient in assisting with transcription, de-identification, and secure data organization.

• Competence in supporting qualitative data coding and identifying emerging themes.
