Research Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute statistical analyses utilizing R for research, evaluation, and quality enhancement initiatives.

• Clean, transform, merge, and validate data from various sources, including EHRs, surveys, and REDCap databases.

• Create statistical analysis plans, codebooks, and data dictionaries.

• Conduct power and sample size calculations.

• Produce publication-quality tables, figures, reports, dashboards, and presentations.

• Provide support for grant proposals, IRB submissions, and evaluation planning activities.

• Aid in the development and testing of data collection instruments, such as REDCap surveys.

• Collaborate with research personnel, FQHC partners, and community stakeholders.

• Contribute to peer-reviewed manuscripts, conference abstracts, and presentations.

• Ensure data security and adherence to HIPAA, IRB, and organizational research standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Public Health, Health Services Research, or a related quantitative discipline with 2+ years of relevant experience; or a doctoral degree in a related area.

• Proficient in R, including the tidyverse package.

• Experienced in working with healthcare, EHR, claims, registry, or survey data.

• Strong understanding of statistical modeling and quantitative research methodologies.

• Proven experience managing projects from data acquisition and cleaning through analysis and reporting.

• Familiarity with REDCap, Qualtrics, or other electronic data collection systems.

• Excellent written, verbal, and analytical communication abilities.

• Dedication to reproducible research and data documentation practices.
