This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Conduct comprehensive, high-level research and analysis.
• Efficiently and accurately respond to reference and research inquiries.
• Evaluate, analyze, and synthesize intricate information from diverse sources.
• Establish alerts for litigation, docket, legislative, regulatory, news, and business matters.
• Assess the precision and cost-effectiveness of research tools.
• Facilitate training sessions for new attorneys and paralegals.
• Stay informed about the latest legal and business research resources and methodologies.
• A Master’s degree in Library and Information Science and/or a J.D. from an accredited institution is preferred.
• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a law firm setting.
• Proficient in conducting complex research tasks.
• Strong understanding of research strategies, legal concepts, and terminology.
• Extensive experience with research databases such as Lexis, Westlaw, and others.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
