Requirements Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify, define, and document comprehensive business requirements from project stakeholders.

• Conduct needs assessments by gathering information on procedures, workflows, reports, and business needs.

• Convert various perspectives into requirements specifications.

• Communicate with project stakeholders regarding testing outcomes and modifications to end-product requirements.

• Analyze client operational goals by examining business functions and assessing output requirements and formats.

• Provide functional design assistance for projects.

• Engage in peer reviews of requirements, system design, code, and test cases.

• Establish system utilization requirements through research and testing.

• Document end-user requirements and develop workflow and process diagrams.

• Offer end-user support through email, phone, chat, or in-person meetings.

• Manage end-user issues and ensure prompt customer care.

• Conduct quality assurance reviews of specifications for both internal and external delivery.

• Assist in writing and executing test plans and test cases.

• Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven understanding of compliance and regulatory IT infrastructure.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Project, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.

• Strong customer service capabilities.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to clearly and accurately explain policies, procedures, and technical information.

• Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience in gathering and conducting business process analysis.

• Excellent organizational and planning skills.

• Ability to exercise independent judgment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Advanced situational awareness and resourceful response capabilities.

• Confidence in collaborating with stakeholders from various parts of the business.

• Comfort level with technology, including web-based systems.

• Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision.

• Ability to quickly adapt in a fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred).

• CEBS designation preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in pensions, insurance, benefits, or a TPA environment preferred.

• Familiarity with project tools such as Clarity, ALM, and HDP preferred.

• Willingness and ability to travel as required; overnight travel may be necessary.

• Ability to lift 15–60 pounds as needed.

• Flexible work schedule to accommodate workflow demands.

• Adhere to established attendance and punctuality standards.
