This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Deliver value to designated customers through technical support.
• Discover new product opportunities and promote them to current clients.
• Sustain revenue, maintain price capture, and ensure gross profit.
• Develop and nurture assigned business relationships.
• Evaluate treatment programs and account processes via regular testing and monitoring.
• Provide site and LMS/classroom training for plants within the territory and new customer locations.
• Generate new business and applications by formulating and executing sales strategies.
• Oversee account profitability, including pump settings, pricing, and accounts receivable management.
• Assess applications and processes to enhance safety measures.
• Address emergency call-ins during evenings and weekends.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment as necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related technical discipline.
• Relevant experience may substitute for a technical degree.
• 1–3 years of industry experience, ideally in pulp and paper or water treatment sectors.
• Proven track record of resolving complex and non-routine technical issues.
• Experience in managing complex projects.
• Excellent relationship management capabilities.
• Capacity to learn and utilize new concepts and technologies.
• Ability to work independently and guide or mentor indirect reports.
• Experience collaborating with various organizational levels to achieve objectives.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Familiarity with a consultative sales methodology.
• Proficient in spoken and written French.
• Availability for emergency call-ins during evenings and weekends.
• Residence within a one-hour commute of the mill is required.
• Solid technical and practical problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated skill with hand tools and power tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment.
• Capability to safely operate, maintain, and choose appropriate tools for maintenance and repair tasks.
