Reporting Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Prepare and evaluate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).

• Supervise the management of the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments are precise and comprehensive.

• Examine monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations to guarantee accurate and current financial records.

• Assist internal and external audits by supplying required documentation and addressing audit inquiries.

• Oversee and ensure the timely and accurate execution of the month-end and year-end closing process.

• Offer insights into cost accounting and aid decision-making processes related to cost control and profitability analysis.

• Contribute to the formulation of budgets and financial forecasts, analyzing discrepancies between actual and budgeted performance.

• Ensure all financial operations adhere to company policies, internal controls, and regulatory standards.

• Mentor and guide the reporting team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (required).

• CA certification (preferred).

• 6-8 years of experience in accounting or finance, emphasizing financial reporting and analysis.

• Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.

• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical capabilities.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Proactive self-starter with a mindset geared towards continuous improvement.

• Strong accountability to deliver timely, high-quality results.

• Experience in financial reporting for both public and private entities.

• Experience in a fast-paced or high-growth setting.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
