This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Responsible for ensuring the reliability of facility infrastructure across vital data center systems, including power, cooling, and controls.
• Design, execute, and continuously enhance asset strategies and work management processes to meet uptime, safety, and cost goals.
• Engage in reliability analytics, PM optimization, MOP/SOP governance, change management, root cause analysis (RCA), and program execution for critical spares, condition monitoring, and lifecycle asset management.
• Develop and sustain equipment strategies that address criticality, failure modes, and maintenance prescriptions for power and cooling systems.
• Take ownership of PM quality and audit activities; eliminate inefficient tasks and implement optimized prescriptions.
• Create, review, and govern SOPs/MOPs/EOPs and change packages; ensure compliance through training and approvals.
• Collaborate with site teams to maintain CMMS schedules and O&M plans; lead reliability investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Implement oil/coolant analysis, thermography, vibration, and battery monitoring; analyze trends to prevent failures.
• Establish and manage critical spares lists and stocking strategies; monitor gaps and corrective actions.
• Assist in lifecycle asset management processes to inform replacements and capital planning.
• Lead post-incident RCAs and FMEA; document findings and update procedures accordingly.
• Work alongside CE leaders to maintain operator certification and training standards; mentor technicians on reliability methods.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in reliability, maintenance engineering, or facilities engineering within mission-critical environments.
• Proficient in RCM, FMEA, RCA, and maintenance optimization techniques.
• Familiar with UPS, generators, switchgear, chillers, cooling towers, CRAH/CRAC, and BMS/EPMS systems.
• Experience in governing SOP/MOP/EOP, CMMS scheduling, and change management processes.
• Capability to analyze condition monitoring data and convert insights into actionable strategies.
• Skilled in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar applications.
• Ability to employ statistical methods or reliability modeling to aid in decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills; capable of leading investigations and achieving consensus.
• Preferred: Experience with critical spares programs and lifecycle asset management.
• Preferred: Familiarity with scripting or data science tools (Python, R) for reliability analytics.
• Preferred: Knowledge of SQL or data querying languages.
