📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a team of Release Coordinators, providing ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance support.

• Conduct performance evaluations and assist team members in establishing and reaching their professional development objectives.

• Allocate and balance workloads among the team based on the scope, complexity, and individual capacity of releases.

• Promote a team culture that values accountability, continuous learning, and effective utilization of AI tools in everyday tasks.

• Participate in the recruitment and onboarding processes for new Release Coordinators.

• Supervise and guide the team in collaborating closely with development, testing, and deployment teams to plan release activities, employing AI-driven project tools to monitor dependencies and proactively identify scheduling conflicts.

• Create and sustain release schedules using AI-supported risk modeling to foresee bottlenecks and downstream effects.

• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure consensus on release timelines.

• Regularly engage with clients to review release preparedness.

• Facilitate communication among development, QA, operations, and client-facing teams throughout the release life cycle.

• Utilize AI writing tools to draft and enhance release notes, stakeholder updates, and post-release summaries with clarity and consistency.

• Provide stakeholders with regular updates on release progress, utilizing AI-generated digests where suitable to keep communications timely and succinct.

• Act as an escalation point for client and cross-team communications when releases are at risk.

• Identify potential risks and issues that may affect end users, using AI-assisted analysis of historical release data and open tickets to detect patterns early.

• Assist the team in developing contingency plans and mitigating risks before they impact production.

• Ensure that all release documentation is accurate, current, and accessible, employing AI tools to aid in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining configuration run lists and release checklists.

• Apply AI-powered summarization to condense complex release notes into clear, client-appropriate communications.

• Collaborate with QA teams to guarantee sufficient testing is performed before releases are deployed to production.

• Advocate for the use of AI-assisted test case generation to enhance team coverage, especially for regression and edge-case scenarios.

• Schedule and oversee testing activities, including user acceptance testing (UAT) and regression testing.

• Ensure the team possesses a comprehensive understanding of how existing clients utilize Nymbus products, including files, settings, queries, and back-office configurations.

• Guide coordinators in interpreting expected feature behavior based on acceptance criteria and using AI tools to verify behavior against documented requirements.

• Ensure that issues identified during testing are documented clearly, properly categorized, and escalated as necessary.

• Mentor team members on recognizing and accurately evaluating issue severity.

• Encourage innovative, scenario-based thinking when creating test cases, including conditions based on real client-reported issues.

• Coordinate deployment activities with infrastructure teams, ensuring AI-enhanced monitoring tools are operational prior to go-live.

• Oversee the deployment process to ensure adherence to the planned schedule; confirm that rollback procedures are prepared as needed.

• Participate in upgrade events, utilizing AI-supported runbooks and checklists to minimize manual errors.

• Monitor post-release stability with AI-driven observability and alerting tools to quickly detect anomalies.

• Supervise the team's coordination and resolution of issues that emerge post-release.

• Ensure urgent and high-priority issues are escalated swiftly to minimize end-user risk.

• Gather and synthesize feedback from clients, stakeholders, and teams for ongoing improvement, using AI tools to identify themes and recurring patterns across releases.

• Collaborate with the infrastructure team to manage and preserve consistency across environments.

• Ensure environments are updated with current data and that configurations are consistent with production.

• Utilize AI-assisted environment comparison tools when available to detect configuration drift early.

• Identify opportunities for enhancing processes within the release management lifecycle, including the adoption of new AI-powered tools.

• Implement best practices and integrate lessons learned from past releases.

• Stay informed on emerging AI tools relevant to release management, QA, and DevOps workflows, and guide the team in their effective adoption.

• Provide training and support to the release coordination team and cross-functional partners, including guidance on the effective use of AI tools within release workflows.

• Cultivate a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and communication to improve the efficiency of the release process.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

• Knowledge of customer service techniques and standards.

• 2+ years of experience in people management or team leadership.

• Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

• Several years of banking experience preferred, with a focus on Deposits, Loans, GL, or Back Office Operations.

• Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and modern collaboration platforms.

• Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.

• Awareness of AI productivity tools (e.g., AI writing assistants, automated test generation, AI-powered monitoring/observability platforms); willingness and ability to adopt new tools as they arise.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write clearly with or without AI assistance.

• Effective public presentation abilities.

• Strong time management and analytical capabilities.

• Flexibility in schedule to accommodate occasional travel and the ability to work evenings and/or weekends.

• Perform all other related duties as required or assigned.

• Process and detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
