Release Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Manage the release cycle

• Ensure the health of production systems

• Facilitate the rotation

• Oversee CI health

• Act as the key liaison during incidents

• Streamline each upcoming release to be simpler than the previous one

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in release and deployment processes

• Proficiency in infrastructure as code

• Familiarity with build systems

• Knowledge of CI/CD operations

• Proficient in Linux and shell scripting

• Ability to communicate asynchronously

• Strong sense of ownership regarding outcomes

• Direct experience with Bazel or the Remote Execution API (REAPI)

• Programming skills in Java, Go, Python, or TypeScript

• Experience with PagerDuty and Linear (or similar tools)

• A background in platform or DevOps engineering within a product-led organization

• Knowledge of Kubernetes or container orchestration technologies
