This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and oversee enterprise release strategies, deployment timelines, and implementation plans that support various project workstreams.
• Facilitate software releases in collaboration with engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, testing, cloud operations, and government stakeholders.
• Lead meetings for release planning, conduct deployment readiness reviews, and manage production go/no-go decision processes.
• Create release calendars and synchronize implementation timelines among multiple technical teams.
• Oversee production deployment activities, cutover planning, rollback procedures, and post-deployment validation efforts.
• Track release progress, assess implementation risks, and manage deployment dependencies while facilitating issue resolution.
• Work together with Test Engineers, Engineering Leads, Configuration Management, and cybersecurity teams to guarantee production readiness.
• Keep release documentation, deployment procedures, implementation records, and operational runbooks up to date.
• Monitor release metrics, evaluate implementation performance, and gather lessons learned to enhance future deployment activities.
• Encourage DevSecOps, automation, continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and release management best practices throughout the program.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in managing enterprise software releases, deployments, or implementation activities.
• Proven experience in coordinating production releases across multiple technical teams in complex IT environments.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, DevSecOps, CI/CD, or hybrid software development methodologies.
• Experience with release management and collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, ServiceNow, Git, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
• ITIL Foundation, PMP, SAFe Agilist, or equivalent certification is desirable.
• Preferred experience in supporting cloud-based implementations, including AWS GovCloud or Azure Government.
• Experience in supporting VA, VHA, DHA, or other Federal healthcare organizations, as well as health IT, telehealth, or Federal program management is preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Level 3 Public Trust clearance.
