This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.
• Establish and enhance long-term partnerships with EPI members throughout Europe.
• Lead the acquisition of merchants and the acceptance of Wero, ensuring alignment with set objectives.
• Assist in the onboarding and acquisition of new members and acceptance providers.
• Act as a representative for Wero within the European payments landscape.
• Support EPI's interaction with a portfolio of members and prospects, aiding in sales and business development efforts across all EPI markets.
• Collaborate closely with EPI acquiring members to develop relationships through community and bilateral meetings, ensure consistent follow-up, provide internal reporting, and facilitate effective merchant acquisition for Wero acceptance.
• Over 5 years of experience in the payments sector.
• Deep understanding of the payment transaction process (Issuing / Acquiring).
• Demonstrated ability in influencing, selling, and negotiating within the financial sector.
• Strong skills in account management, presentation, and networking.
• Capability to produce high-quality work and report on KPIs.
• A strong customer-oriented approach.
• Ability to excel in a remote-first, multicultural setting.
• Proficiency in English.
• Knowledge of German or French is a significant advantage.
