This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +3 more states.
• Accountable for the processing and reconciliation of mutual fund tax reporting.
• Oversees reporting outputs and manages shareholder accounts.
• Ensures the correct identification and escheatment of abandoned property.
• Handles shareholder communication and maintains records of returned mail.
• Coordinates searches for lost shareholders.
• Facilitates the escheatment of abandoned property to the relevant state jurisdictions.
• Produces shareholder tax forms.
• Reconciles tax form outputs against predefined control reports.
• Maintains the system for shareholder recordkeeping.
• Reviews system and control reports to track shareholder contact activities and returned mail.
• Collaborates with management to align state reporting and escheatment efforts.
• Keeps abreast of regulatory changes and conveys pertinent updates.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration.
• 2-3 years of experience in mutual fund operations.
• Familiarity with mutual fund tax reporting requirements.
• Understanding of the impact of mutual fund operations and transaction processing on shareholder tax reporting.
• Knowledge of state escheatment regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Competence in Adobe Acrobat.
