This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and organize regulatory content, structured and labeled to provide Ncontracts' AI products with accurate and well-sourced materials for optimal functionality.
• Craft and enhance the prompts and instructions that direct how our AI tools interpret and respond to regulatory inquiries.
• Perform in-depth regulatory research that transcends general searches by analyzing actual Federal Register texts, intricate regulations, and their accompanying preambles/commentaries, as well as understanding how legal opinion letters and other regulatory guidance can influence the interpretation and risk profile of regulations.
• Evaluate and sample AI-generated compliance content for precision, applying a keen eye for detail to identify inaccuracies or subtle misstatements before they reach clients.
• Utilize compliance testing capabilities, including issue identification and appropriate sample size determination, to establish how AI outputs are reviewed and validated.
• Analyze customer feedback on AI outputs to identify trends, rectify errors, and enhance content and prompting over time.
• Act as a secondary resource to assist with customer inquiries and escalations related to AI-generated outputs.
• Engage in regulatory content creation and thought leadership initiatives that reinforce Ncontracts' status as a leader in compliance intelligence.
• Employ exceptional research and writing skills to clarify how regulations, laws, and guidance function in clear and highly accurate language.
• Collaborate across functions with Product, Development, and other members of the Content Intelligence team on AI quality initiatives.
• Ideal team member qualities: humble, hungry, smart, and kind.
• Experience as a compliance practitioner at a financial institution, consulting firm, law firm, or regulatory agency, with hands-on experience in researching and applying banking regulations.
• Extensive knowledge of banking regulations and practices.
• Authentic regulatory research experience: comfortable dedicating substantial time to dense regulatory texts, Federal Register searches, agency commentary, and interpretive guidance, rather than merely seeking online summaries.
• Proficient in compliance testing, including identifying issues and determining appropriate sample sizes.
• Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to discern inaccuracies or AI hallucinations in written content.
• Highly developed research and writing skills, capable of producing clear and highly accurate language; training in legal writing is preferred as it enhances strong prompt-crafting abilities.
