This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Formulates and executes health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Recognizes best practices and spearheads ongoing improvement initiatives to mitigate risks in work processes.
• Conducts regulatory assessments of products, intermediates, raw materials, and end-use applications.
• Executes a comprehensive audit cycle, including risk management and control management to evaluate operational effectiveness.
• Performs safety surveys and inspections to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Manages environmental reporting, including but not limited to Stormwater permits, SPCC, TCEQ, EPA, TTB, etc.
• Detects vulnerabilities and proposes risk mitigation strategies along with cost-saving opportunities.
• Conducts follow-up audits to ensure corrective actions are implemented and compliance is sustained.
• Investigates, documents, analyzes, and resolves any regulatory compliance issues that may arise.
• Engages in ongoing professional development regarding industry regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards.
• Associate's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Regulatory and/or Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) sectors.
• Familiarity and experience with major areas of Government Regulatory compliance in the USA (e.g., FDA, OSHA, EPA, TSCA).
• Understanding of the Regulatory Environment, Health and Safety laws in the USA, Canada, and Europe.
