This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the creation and execution of specialized materials and procedures related to registration and course selection operations, ensuring compliance with CIEE academic policies.
• Direct the student course selection process along with the preparation of schedules for advising portfolios.
• Lead the strategic development, training, and management of all Academic Affairs processes concerning courses and academic policies and procedures.
• Supervise a team of Registration Coordinators, ensuring the timely, accurate, and reliable administration and reporting of course-related data for registration and grades processing.
• Guide Registration Coordinators in handling administrative tasks linked to the grade appeal process and participate as a member of the CIEE Academic Appeals Committee.
• Educate Registration and other CIEE teams on the application of both existing and new policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular evaluations of current policies and provide recommendations to the Registrar for enhancements and additions.
• Ensure the development and distribution of training modules and reference materials for all pertinent academic resources.
• Create and support the delivery of registration and grades-related training materials for CIEE staff in the US and abroad.
• Assist in reviewing and developing marketing and web content associated with registration and courses.
• Collaborate closely with the Registrar and other Registration team members to:
• Design and implement workflow efficiencies and continually enhance mechanisms for inter- and intra-departmental cooperation and communication to effectively manage academic policy compliance and standards.
• Establish systems for placing, tracking, and managing expectations for related requests.
• Communicate updates on team projects.
• Work together on resolving any workflow or inter-team communication challenges.
• Enhance the user experience for students and resident staff within the course registration system.
• Address all inquiries, issues, problems, and/or needs from Registration team members and CIEE Portland and/or site staff related to the outlined job responsibilities in a prompt manner.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least four (4) years of relevant full-time administrative experience within a college or University Registrar’s office, or within a study abroad office required.
• Previous experience in a study abroad provider organization is preferred.
• A minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience leading projects or in management roles is preferred.
