📋 Description

• Oversee the daily functions of the patient registration team, ensuring precise entry of patient information and insurance data into the billing system, verifying coverage, and managing performance.

• Create, implement, and continually refine standard operating procedures for patient intake and registration processes.

• Guarantee that registration workflows comply with HIPAA regulations and the company's privacy standards.

• Work in collaboration with IT, clinical, and customer service departments to enhance registration processes and address workflow challenges.

• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and registration metrics to discover areas for enhancement.

• Provide training and support to registration staff on the use of EHR systems, CRM tools, and telehealth platforms.

• Remain updated on healthcare compliance, telehealth regulations, and best practices in patient data management.

• Oversee the performance of an offshore team to ensure consistent operations and seek opportunities to extend workflows to offshore counterparts. Provide timely performance evaluations and feedback to promote employee development and accountability.

• Directly supervise staff, including assigning work tasks, coaching, and general performance management.

• Mentor, develop, and coach direct reports with a focus on building career paths for professional advancement.

• Implement progressive discipline, including corrective actions when necessary, to ensure high levels of job performance and adherence to company policy.

• Conduct formal performance evaluations for all direct reports and formulate action plans for ongoing development and performance enhancement.

• Manage payroll activities for direct reports, including timekeeping, approving time off requests, and other administrative duties.

• Additional responsibilities as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

• At least 5 years of experience in healthcare registration, patient services, or operations, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership position.

• In the absence of a Bachelor’s Degree, a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered. Experience must include a minimum of 5 years in progressive leadership roles within Revenue Cycle.

• Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in electronic health records (EHR), CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong understanding of the end-to-end revenue cycle process.

• Previous experience in developing workflows.

• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.

• A focus on regulatory and billing requirements is essential.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Strong understanding of HIPAA, patient privacy regulations, and telehealth workflows.

• Negotiation skills to effectively address patient concerns, financial matters, and securing payments.

• Familiarity with state and federal employment regulations.

• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to work effectively across departments.

• Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and collaboration tools across various operating systems.

• Utilization of analytical tools (such as Excel, pivot tables, Tableau, etc.) to resolve problems and create solutions for revenue cycle workflows, billing, and payment issues.

• Capability to work effectively under deadlines and self-manage multiple projects concurrently.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management abilities.

• Experience in managing offshore employees.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth organization within a fully remote environment.

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time.

• Occasional travel for meetings and collaboration may be required.
