Registered Nurse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Carry out patient admissions, assessments, counseling, discharge, and recovery room setup and cleanup in line with protocols and standing orders.

• Administer and dispense prescribed non-controlled medications according to provider orders and established protocols.

• Evaluate and manage anticipated and unforeseen post-procedure outcomes in collaboration with providers and Screening RNs.

• Perform venipuncture and point-of-care testing following standing orders.

• Insert and remove IV catheters as required.

• Conduct RN-led family planning visits, which include injection-based services.

• Address triage-related nursing responsibilities.

• Assist with medication abortion care by preparing encounters, offering contraceptive, STI, and abortion counseling, and dispensing prescribed medications under standing orders.

• Participate in after-hours RN call rotation (approximately 2–6 shifts per month).

• Conduct clinical audits as necessary based on the health center's needs and RN skill levels.

• Stay updated on current nursing best practices and regulatory standards.

• Execute additional tasks as assigned to support patient care and clinic operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.

• A valid, unrestricted Massachusetts RN license is required.

• Current CPR certification is mandatory.

• Clinical experience in sexual and reproductive health is preferred.

• A strong commitment to health equity, patient autonomy, and trauma-informed care.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are essential.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinical environment.

• Capable of standing for approximately 95% of the workday.

• Able to lift up to 30 pounds without assistance.

• Proficient in bending, reaching, and stocking clinical supplies.
