Registered Nurse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Evaluate OASIS assessments to ensure they are complete, appropriate, and compliant with both federal and state regulations.

• Verify accurate ICD-10 coding and sequencing in relation to each patient's medical conditions and co-morbidities.

• Collaborate with clinical staff to address issues related to documentation and data integrity.

• Monitor visit utilization and identify potential financial risks or underutilization for clinical management's attention.

• Recognize and communicate trends that may affect agency outcomes and process measures.

• Conduct OASIS inter-rater reliability visits alongside clinical team members.

• Engage in Quality Improvement and Corporate Compliance initiatives.

• Keep abreast of best practices through continuous education and professional growth.

• Carry out additional duties as needed to support patient services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid RN license in California, in good standing.

• 1 to 2 years of experience in clinical home health.

• Familiarity with OASIS assessments and ICD-10 coding.

• Understanding of federal regulations and state licensure prerequisites.

• Excellent communication abilities and a strong attention to detail.

• Capacity to work independently and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.

• Proficient in using computer systems and electronic health records.

• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

• Valid driver's license and a reliable, insured vehicle.

• OASIS certification (COS-C).

• OASIS Home Health ICD-10 coding certification.
