Registered Dietitian, West Coast

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with team members to evaluate health issues and create tailored care plans utilizing a functional nutrition approach.

• Utilize functional lab testing to assess nutrient deficiencies, hormonal imbalances, and gut health, customizing interventions to target underlying causes.

• Assist members in implementing sustainable, anti-inflammatory diets while considering lifestyle factors such as stress, sleep, and physical activity.

• Engage in specialized training to enhance knowledge in functional nutrition and autoimmune protocols.

• Collaborate across departments to integrate WellTheory’s care model within the larger healthcare framework.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution.

• Registered Dietitian (RD) licensure through the Commission on Dietetic Registration or an equivalent license in your state.

• At least 1 year of professional experience in dietetics.

• Preferred experience for Registered Dietitians includes working in functional nutrition clinics or telehealth environments.

• Knowledge of functional lab testing and its analysis.

• Familiarity with the Autoimmune Protocol (AIP) or anti-inflammatory diets.

• Experience in addressing hormonal imbalances and gut health.

• Proficient in Motivational Interviewing and facilitating behavior change.

• For Functional Registered Dietitians, preferred additional experience includes proficiency in functional lab testing and a strong clinical background in managing hormonal imbalances and gut health related to autoimmune conditions.
