Registered Dietitian, RD/RDN

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough nutrition evaluations through virtual consultations.

• Offer Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) for obesity and related chronic illnesses; create personalized nutrition care strategies.

• Provide nutrition education and counseling utilizing behavior-change methodologies.

• Enhance patient involvement through effective communication; refer clinical issues as necessary.

• Partner with doctors, nurse practitioners, health coaches, and care coordinators; engage in care planning and case reviews when required.

• Record interactions, evaluations, and care strategies in the Electronic Health Record (EHR); effectively utilize telehealth and patient engagement tools.

• Uphold licensing standards, adhere to HIPAA regulations, and complete necessary training and professional development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential in good standing.

• Active Licensed Dietitian (LD) or Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) or Certified Dietitian (CD) or Certified Dietitian Nutritionist (CDN) license in the relevant state(s).

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related discipline.

• Experience in clinical or ambulatory settings providing nutrition counseling or MNT (mandatory).

• Familiarity with obesity, weight management, chronic conditions, and telehealth (preferred).

• Excellent patient-centered counseling and documentation abilities.

• Proficiency with EHR systems and telehealth platforms; must have reliable internet and a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace.
