This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Provide exceptional, patient-focused Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) for individuals with chronic and intricate conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular issues, kidney disease, obesity, cancer, and gastrointestinal disorders.
• Conduct thorough virtual assessments and create personalized nutrition care plans aligned with patient needs, preferences, and objectives.
• Draft nutrition prescriptions that are specifically tailored to clinical diagnoses and encourage sustainable behavioral changes.
• Record all patient interactions in the electronic health record (EHR) in a clear and timely manner.
• Work collaboratively with care teams, including physicians and health coaches, to facilitate coordinated patient care.
• Take part in developing content for education, engagement, and outreach initiatives.
• Engage in ongoing quality improvement and innovation of care delivery methods.
• Utilize current nutrition research and evidence-based practices in patient treatment.
• Uphold necessary professional credentials, licensure, and continuous education.
• Join cross-functional meetings and contribute to strategic projects as appropriate.
• Must possess a current Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration in good standing AND a Master’s Degree in Nutrition or a related field preferred; OR a Bachelor's Degree with RD/RDN status obtained before the Master’s degree requirement takes effect (January 1, 2024).
• Must be licensed in the state of North Carolina.

• A passion for innovation, public health, and increasing access to nutrition care.
• Bonus Points If You Are: Credentialed with major health plans.
• Actively licensed in states beyond North Carolina.
• Experienced in behavior change counseling, group education, or culinary nutrition.
• Comfortable participating in program design, content development, or digital tools.
• Fluent in Spanish.
