
Registered Dietitian – Eating Disorders

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Provide continuous nutritional support to assist patients in transforming maladaptive eating behaviors into a healthy relationship with food.
• Create and execute personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's requirements.
• Perform initial nutrition evaluations, recommend meal plans, and determine target weight ranges via telehealth family meetings.
• Facilitate exposure to fear/challenge foods.
• Clearly communicate meal plans and nutrition concerns to treatment team members while educating them on resolution strategies.
• Reinforce treatment team directives during interactions with families.
• Aid in discharge planning.
• Update treatment plans weekly to reflect patient progress, goals, assignments, and nutrition issues.
• Reassess nutritional needs and relay recommendations to both the treatment team and families.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition education that addresses irrational thoughts and beliefs related to food, nutrition, weight, and body shape.
• Build therapeutic relationships with families through rapport building, setting boundaries, and fostering collaborative treatment alliances.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation of care in Equip’s electronic medical record system.
• Participate in mandatory supervision, treatment huddles, labs, all-hands meetings, and individual supervision sessions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A minimum of a bachelor's degree or college coursework accredited or approved by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
• A licensed Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) is required.
• Experience with eating disorders is preferred.
• Familiarity with family-based eating disorder treatment methods is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills within diverse teams.
• Experience working in interdisciplinary teams.
• Organized and results-oriented.
• Ability to balance business needs with clinical priorities.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment that is subject to rapid changes and innovations.
• Availability to work Pacific Hours.
• Must be available for 30 hours per week of direct patient care, including new patients and follow-up sessions.
• Commitment to providing at least 16 hours of direct patient care after 2 pm in the working time zone each week.
• Willingness to work until 8 pm on two evenings per week.
• Ability to attend mandatory meetings.
• Providers must be licensed or registered as required in each state where they provide care.
