This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and execute the overarching nutritional philosophy of the program focused on recovery from eating disorders.
• Conduct an initial nutrition evaluation for every client, including determining a target weight range based on their history and norms.
• Collaborate with the medical team to create and implement a nutritional treatment strategy that incorporates a movement plan and food exposures.
• Meet with assigned patients on a weekly basis, and more often as necessary.
• Hold sessions and check-ins with clients and their family members or support systems.
• Oversee and/or engage in the management of meal programming, assess its effectiveness, and propose and implement adjustments as needed.
• Assist patients in the consistent use of remote patient monitoring devices.
• Continuously reassess nutritional needs, update treatment plans, and effectively communicate recommendations to the treatment team, family, and patient as required.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition education aimed at addressing irrational thoughts and beliefs concerning food, nutrition, weight, and body shape.
• Maintain timely and frequent communication through between-session messaging to support patients and liaise with the treatment team.
• Regularly interact with external providers.
• Document, record, and manage patient information in the electronic health record system.
• Actively engage and collaborate in Treatment Team meetings, supervision, and departmental meetings.
• Lead, co-lead, or participate in nutrition groups.
• Create meal plans considering both cost and client preferences.
• Take part in initial and ongoing training sessions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD) accredited by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

• Must not be opted out of Medicare.
• Must have a reliable internet connection.
• Comfortable using a computer and smartphone, navigating applications on macOS and iOS.
• Must feel at ease communicating with colleagues and patients through chat, telephone, and video calls.
• Must be able to remain seated for the majority of the shift.
