Registered Dietitian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Provide personalized nutrition education for perinatal and postpartum patients through scheduled virtual consultations.

• Conduct virtual group classes focused on perinatal and postpartum nutrition, equipping mothers with vital information to manage their pregnancies and enhance health outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation for all interactions related to care.

• Follow established policies and procedures to uphold the highest standards of care for our members.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian (RD) with credentials from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

• Current licensure to practice in Tennessee (licensure in additional states such as Maryland and DC is advantageous).

• Proven experience in delivering medical nutrition therapy to perinatal and postpartum individuals facing issues like diabetes, hypertension, preeclampsia, inadequate weight gain, and anemia.

• Background in assisting families eligible for Medicaid, SNAP, or WIC programs.

• Outstanding listening and communication skills, including expertise in motivational interviewing techniques and the ability to offer practical, culturally sensitive guidance with compassion.

• Strong organizational abilities and a proven track record of juggling multiple priorities, such as member visits and communications, in a dynamic environment.

• Access to a reliable home internet connection.

• Tech-savvy; experienced in utilizing EHR and messaging platforms for documentation and communication.
