Registered Dietitian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide comprehensive nutrition counseling and weight management education through phone, video calls, chat, text, and email.

• Administer medication management and support for obesity-related comorbidities under the guidance of designated physicians.

• Participate in remote patient monitoring utilizing various devices (e.g., scale, blood glucose meter, blood pressure monitor, ketone meter).

• Assist patients with the dosing and titration of anti-obesity medications in accordance with established protocols.

• Work collaboratively with team physicians and external healthcare providers to ensure holistic care.

• Quickly build rapport and therapeutic relationships with a diverse range of patients.

• Employ motivational interviewing and other strategies to facilitate behavior change.

• Regularly achieve program metrics while upholding high standards of care quality.

• Ensure timely completion of all required documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a Registered Dietitian accredited by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

• State licensure is required if applicable.

• Willingness and capability to acquire additional state licenses as necessary for member coverage.

• Must maintain a HIPAA-compliant workspace with high-speed internet for secure patient interactions.

• Proficient with advanced technology, including electronic medical records and various digital tools.

• Flexible scheduling is essential, with a commitment to a minimum of 20 hours per week; full-time employment elsewhere is not permitted.

• Residency in the United States is required.

• Certification from the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators (NCBDE) as a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) is highly preferred.

• Availability during evenings and Saturdays is expected.
