This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of strategy, growth, and business outcomes for Virta's Public Sector segment.
• Lead and nurture a team of high-level sales professionals dedicated to the national public sector.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to shape the Public Sector sales strategy and market expansion.
• Identify and leverage emerging market opportunities, partnerships, and growth channels.
• Establish and maintain executive relationships with government, labor, consultant, and partner stakeholders.
• Enhance forecasting accuracy, pipeline health, and revenue performance across the segment.
• Design scalable operating models, talent strategies, and organizational structures.
• Advocate for the adoption of AI-enabled workflows, sales methodologies, and industry best practices.
• Act as a sponsor for strategic accounts, partnerships, and market initiatives.
• Represent Virta as a thought leader within industry, government, and labor organizations.
• Cultivate a high-performance culture focused on accountability, development, and results.
• Reinforce Virta’s mission-driven culture and values throughout the commercial organization.
• Over 15 years of experience in public sector sales, business development, or commercial leadership roles.
• Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing public sector sales teams in a dynamic environment.
• Strong history of driving revenue growth, ensuring forecasting accuracy, and achieving quota targets.
• Background in selling complex healthcare, benefits, or enterprise solutions.
• Experience in building relationships with public sector decision-makers, consultants, brokers, and strategic partners.
• Capability to develop and implement go-to-market strategies that foster market growth and expansion.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Proficient in utilizing data and market insights to inform decision-making and enhance business performance.
• Successfully designed and executed AI-enabled workflows or processes that enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
• Knowledgeable about the key events, associations, partnerships, and channels that impact awareness and purchasing decisions in the public sector market.
