
Regional Vice President, Business Development – Biospecimen

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identifies potential opportunities for all Biospecimen services products.
• Builds and strengthens client relationships.
• Develops a solid working relationship with Operations, Marketing, Technical Support, Customer Support, and Finance teams.
• Qualifies potential leads.
• Collaborates with clients to understand their specimen requirements, then works with our internal experts and the BD operations team to present inventory reports, conduct feasibility assessments, and create POs and budgets for clients.
• Closes new business and expands existing client relationships.
• Attends conferences, trade shows, and meetings as necessary.
• Maintains contacts and opportunities through SalesForce.com.
• Manages a smaller team of Business Development Directors within the RVP’s region.
• Acts as a liaison between functional services within Precision, including collaboration with other service lines such as clinical and labs.
• Assists in the recruitment of new BD members.
• Guides the training of new BD members.
• Participates in marketing and conference strategy.
• Engages in large account management, including rate cards and discount structures.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of relevant sales experience; OR
• Master’s Degree with 2 years of relevant sales experience.
• A team player eager to collaborate and share knowledge.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and devise plans to achieve personal goals.
• Capacity to think creatively and strategically while acting tactically in a dynamic environment.
• Proven history of progressively increasing levels of responsibility.
• Demonstrated success in client relationship management and business development within pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO organizations, particularly in the sales of biobanking, sample preparation services, and specialty lab services.
• Must be self-directed and self-motivated to operate at a highly technical level.
• Willingness to travel up to 35%.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license permitting driving in the applicable state(s).
• Able to travel both domestically and internationally, including overnight stays.
• Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending the English language.
