This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Implement daily transportation security operations throughout US shipment routes.
• Ensure the secure handling, packaging, and transport of high-value assets from origin handoff to final delivery.
• Track active US shipments using GPS technology, geofencing, and monitoring systems.
• Perform pre-shipment security inspections in accordance with NGSCS standards.
• Supervise handover and transfer locations, enforcing chain of custody protocols.
• Keep shipment logs, operational records, and chain of custody documentation updated.
• Conduct security assessments of routes and identify vulnerabilities and high-risk areas.
• Evaluate the security practices of carriers and last-mile service providers.
• Assist in the assessment of new carriers and routes by providing field intelligence.
• Identify new route risks and suggest mitigation strategies.
• Act as the primary operational responder to incidents involving theft, loss, diversion, tampering, and chain of custody breaches.
• Coordinate incident response efforts with carriers, logistics partners, and internal NGSCS stakeholders.
• Document incidents and assist in investigations and post-incident analyses.
• Elevate complex or high-severity incidents to the USA Regional Transportation Security Manager.
• Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, and last-mile providers to enforce NGSCS standards.
• Identify compliance deficiencies and drive corrective measures.
• Assist in the onboarding process for new transportation partners.
• Provide operational updates and field intelligence to the USA Regional Transportation Security Manager.
• Contribute to the development of US transportation security procedures and ongoing improvements.
• Support regional reporting on performance metrics, risks, and incident trends.
• Extensive hands-on experience in transportation security, logistics security, or in-transit supply chain operations.
• Strong operational expertise in implementing security controls across complex, multi-leg transportation movements.
• Experience in conducting route evaluations, carrier security assessments, or compliance checks in the field.
• Proven experience in responding to in-transit security incidents, including immediate coordination and post-incident documentation.
• Strong adherence to chain of custody documentation and operational record-keeping.
• Capability to work independently in the field, demonstrating situational awareness and sound judgment under pressure.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with internal teams and external logistics partners.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the United States is essential.
• Immediate response and availability may be necessary outside typical working hours.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the country of application and provide proof of employment eligibility.
• Added advantage: experience in high-value or critical infrastructure transportation security.
• Added advantage: background in law enforcement, military, or corporate security with a focus on field operations.
• Added advantage: familiarity with TAPA TSR or similar transportation security standards.
• Added advantage: knowledge of GPS tracking, geofencing, real-time shipment monitoring platforms, and tamper-evident sealing.
