This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
β’ Assist in executing annual and regional training programs in collaboration with Channel Sales Managers and local sales teams.
β’ Help maintain a yearly training calendar that encompasses welding techniques, product offerings, technologies, and market-specific applications.
β’ Work together with Channel Sales Managers and distributor teams to facilitate enrollment in regional training sessions by disseminating information on available programs and aiding with participation logistics.
β’ Enhance distributor engagement through onboarding representatives, reinforcing value propositions, and ensuring consistent program adoption.
β’ Engage in joint calls and co-facilitate training sessions alongside distributor partners.
β’ Provide captivating technical training through face-to-face instruction, hands-on demonstrations, webinars, virtual sessions, and e-learning platforms.
β’ Adapt training methodologies to accommodate various learning preferences and experience levels.
β’ Conduct technology seminars, segment-specific events, and Train-the-Trainer programs at distributor and ITW venues.
β’ Present cross-brand, application-oriented solutions that illustrate how ITW technologies synergize to meet distributor and end-user requirements.
β’ Act as a regional technical consultant on welding processes and ITW welding products.
β’ Aid in the development and application of technical expertise across the complete ITW portfolio to promote sales growth.
β’ Collaborate with ITW Welding divisions to provide training for distributors, educators, and industrial clients.
β’ Partner with Product Management, Marketing, and Sales to develop top-tier training materials.
β’ Create multimedia educational tools such as presentations, videos, digital resources, and instructional guides.
β’ Integrate solutions across ITW Welding divisions to develop cohesive, segment-focused training content that supports solution selling for distributors.
β’ Collaborate with regional sales teams to identify training requirements and assist in scheduling courses.
β’ Ensure a professional, comprehensive customer learning experience.
β’ Maintain training facilities, equipment, and uphold safety standards.
β’ Keep CRM and LMS records updated regarding training sessions, participation, and outcomes.
β’ Assess training effectiveness and incorporate feedback to improve programs.
β’ Identify knowledge gaps and work on new training initiatives.
β’ Continue to enhance facilitation, storytelling, and executive presence skills.
β’ Over 5 years of practical welding experience with expertise in SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, and FCAW; CWI certification preferred.
β’ Background in training, sales enablement, technical instruction, or field demonstrations; experience with laser/automated welding is advantageous.
β’ Exceptional presentation, facilitation, coaching, and influencing capabilities with strong communication and collaboration skills.
β’ Technical proficiency with a robust understanding of ITW products, processes, and technologies; familiarity with CRM/LMS systems is essential.
β’ Strong organizational, prioritization, and independent working abilities; skilled at effectively navigating differing perspectives.
β’ Knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles is a plus.
β’ Willingness to travel 40β60% within the region.
