This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Promptly address dealer technical support inquiries through designated communication channels.
• Conduct on-site vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting to assist dealers and service centers.
• Identify and document product quality issues encountered in the field, supporting investigations and follow-up actions.
• Lead the resolution of customer concerns by collaborating with service teams and end customers.
• Serve as the "eyes and ears" in the field, providing valuable feedback and insights to the Aftersales team.
• Monitor technician competency levels in your region and recommend targeted training opportunities.
• Assist with visits from factory engineers at service centers and Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) facilities.
• Conduct on-site confirmations, analysis, improvements, and training related to technical and NPS issues.
• Deliver weekly reports summarizing regional operations, including technical support activities, major quality concerns, urgent incidents, documentation/manual updates, and the status of vehicles pending diagnosis, parts, or repair.
• Prepare and submit monthly operational reports that cover technical support activities, first-time fix rates, pending vehicle statuses, and NPS performance.
• Undertake other ad-hoc tasks as requested by the business.
• Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology (Light Vehicle) or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of experience in a technical support or customer service role within the automotive industry.
• Master Technician or Diagnostic Technician status is preferred.
• Strong diagnostic skills coupled with hands-on capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to convey complex information clearly.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Solid understanding of dealership operations, workshop processes, and automotive service best practices.
• Self-motivated, customer-oriented, and adept at managing responsibilities across multiple locations.
