Regional Security Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Lead the creation and implementation of Coinbase's regional security strategy throughout the APAC region.

• Oversee the APAC physical security operational plan, regional risk register, site security standards, and remediation priorities.

• Conduct site assessments, vulnerability evaluations, security enhancement projects, new office openings, relocations, and security system installations.

• Act as the regional escalation point and Incident Commander for critical security incidents.

• Collaborate with the GSOC, workplace teams, vendors, building management, and emergency services.

• Manage access control, badging, visitor management, secure area access, and ensure audit readiness.

• Supervise contracted security providers through Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).

• Formulate and uphold regional policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), playbooks, drills, tabletop exercises, and employee-oriented security guidance.

• Utilize APAC threat intelligence and local conditions to shape security initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in physical security, risk, or resilience operations within a multinational organization.

• At least 5 years of experience leading APAC regional security programs across various countries and locations.

• Demonstrated experience as Incident Commander during complex, cross-functional, or high-stakes security incidents with verifiable outcomes.

• Practical experience in implementing and managing access control, CCTV, alarm systems, visitor management, and security personnel systems across multiple facilities.

• Direct experience in performing risk and vulnerability assessments and translating findings into actionable, time-sensitive remediation plans.

• Proven track record of managing security vendors through SLAs, KPIs, QBRs, performance enhancement plans, and contract renewals in APAC markets.

• Responsible utilization of generative AI with appropriate human oversight.
