This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.
• The primary role of the Regional Sales Specialist (RSS) is to formulate and effectively implement sales strategies that secure unit volume and revenue targets for multi-omic services, emphasizing strategic selling opportunities for PreludeDx products (such as DCISionRT) within a designated territory.
• Identify, target, educate, and manage accounts within the assigned territory, including breast surgeons, radiation oncologists, oncologists, hospitals, and pathology groups, regarding PreludeDx cancer products and services.
• Conduct an analysis of the assigned territory to grasp the prescribing and purchasing decision processes and identify any significant deviations from national trends.
• Drive new business in oncology, maintain customer relationships, and surpass sales objectives.
• Meet and exceed sales forecasts and goals.
• Engage in the organization and facilitation of meetings to share medical and product information in accordance with the company's policies, legal, and regulatory requirements.
• Represent the organization at trade shows and attend company meetings, training sessions, and other functions as required.
• Adapt to changes in the work environment, develop and execute alternative strategies to achieve objectives, and modify call plans and business activities as necessary.
• Support the company’s sales strategy and contribute to fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Exhibit a positive and professional demeanor while ensuring that activities align with and enhance the company’s ethical marketing policies and procedures.
• Travel independently throughout the defined territory to boost oncology sales.
• Build and sustain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
• Maintain ongoing communication with management regarding business opportunities and challenges.
• Keep an updated database of customers and prospective clients.
• Present at quarterly sales meetings.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing team to assess territory market trends, competitive challenges, and new testing opportunities.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Over 5 years of field sales experience in diagnostics, breast surgery, radiation oncology, oncology, lab services, pharmaceuticals, biotech, or a related industry.
• Preferred experience with breast cancer diagnostics, breast surgery, and breast radiation oncology.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Demonstrated ability to establish relationships with physician thought leaders and other relevant stakeholders.
• Consistent history of meeting or surpassing financial and/or quantitative targets, along with qualitative goals.
• Effective and professional communication skills with all organizational members, customers, and external contacts.
• Willingness to travel, including overnight stays and participation in some weekend programs.
• Strong understanding of pertinent clinical and scientific information with the capacity to convey key facts related to products, competitors, science, and the marketplace to a diverse range of oncology customers.
• Ambitious with a proven ability to quickly acquire new technical and scientific knowledge.
