This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Assist the Regional Business Manager (RBM) by coordinating distributors with sales initiatives and account support.
• Present formal sales pitches as instructed by the Regional Sales Manager (RSM).
• Lead or support technical product demonstrations, which encompass preparation, machine setup and operation, application coordination, teardown, cleaning, and reporting/shipping of samples.
• Engage in various stages of the sales process for assigned prospects, including initial outreach, needs assessment, sample cutting, product presentations, ROI analysis, and potentially aiding in closing the sale.
• Build and sustain professional relationships with designated distributors.
• Offer valuable sales and marketing insights to Flow stakeholders, including competitor data and market trends.
• Visit potential clients to present, provide technical assistance, or support pre-sales activities as directed by the RSM.
• While not primarily a technical service role, may occasionally assist with site readiness evaluations, customer application support, or service suggestions.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering is preferred but not mandatory.
• Prior experience in sales, service, marketing, or within manufacturing, fabrication, and/or machine shops is advantageous.
• Familiarity with CNC machinery or CAD software is beneficial.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Knowledge of, or the capacity to learn about applications for waterjet cutting, laser cutting, and press brakes.
• Willingness to travel as necessary for customer visits, demonstrations, and support.
