Regional Sales Manager – Spine, Orthopedics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive management of DePuy Synthes sales strategies, operations, activities, and budgets within the designated geographic area.

• Execute selling strategies and tactical sales plans to meet Trauma sales targets and objectives.

• Identify, recruit, and retain skilled sales professionals throughout the region.

• Offer performance management, mentorship, and career advancement for the sales team.

• Collaborate with Consultants to establish and meet territory objectives while enhancing patient care and customer satisfaction.

• Develop new accounts and surgeon relationships, while also penetrating existing accounts with innovative technologies.

• Assess healthcare market dynamics, industry trends, customer segmentation, customer data, and purchasing processes.

• Oversee a product portfolio along with sales, growth, income, profitability, asset management, and budget goals.

• Manage regional business expenses with a focus on fiscal responsibility.

• Build relationships with key surgeons, accounts, and associations to identify opportunities and foster collaboration.

• Engage in compliance-program activities and support ethics, integrity, compliance, training, and related initiatives.

• Adhere to applicable laws, regulations, healthcare compliance policies, and Johnson & Johnson’s Business Code of Conduct.


⛳️ Requirements

• A BA/BS degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as Business, Marketing, or Finance is mandatory.

• An MBA is preferred.

• A minimum of 8 years of pertinent business and/or leadership experience is required.

• At least 2 years of experience in management, coaching, or mentoring is necessary.

• Participation in a Sales Leadership Development Program is preferred.

• Proven leadership skills, including the ability to lead through change.

• Exceptional listening, written, and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong organizational skills and the capability to deliver impactful sales presentations that yield positive results.

• Expertise in clinical procedures, product knowledge, and experience with new product introductions.

• In-depth understanding of customer needs and the ability to leverage customer data and insights to influence the purchasing process.

• Capability to mentor and develop field sales talent.

• A proven record of success in a complex organizational environment with a focus on enterprise-level decision-making.

• Demonstrated leadership in business planning and project management.

• Documented success in sales achievements.

• A valid driver's license issued in the United States is required.

• Must be willing and able to travel extensively (30%-50%).

• Candidates should reside in the current geographical area or be open to relocation.
