This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.
• Oversee the comprehensive management of DePuy Synthes sales strategies, operations, activities, and budgets within the designated geographic area.
• Execute selling strategies and develop strategic sales plans to meet Trauma sales objectives and targets.
• Exhibit knowledge of products and procedures, clinical excellence, product proficiency, and experience in introducing new products.
• Recruit, hire, and maintain a team of qualified sales professionals throughout the region.
• Provide performance management, mentorship, and career development opportunities for the sales team.
• Collaborate with Consultants to establish and achieve territory goals while enhancing patient care and customer satisfaction.
• Spearhead the acquisition of new accounts and surgeon relationships, aiding Consultants in entering existing accounts with new technologies.
• Analyze healthcare market dynamics, industry trends, customer segmentation, customer data, and purchasing processes.
• Oversee sales performance of the product portfolio, including growth, income targets, gross profits, profitability, assets, and budgets.
• Manage regional business expenses with a focus on fiscal responsibility.
• Cultivate relationships with key surgeons, accounts, and associations to identify opportunities and foster collaboration.
• Engage in compliance activities while adhering to relevant laws, regulations, policies, and the Johnson & Johnson Business Code of Conduct.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as Business, Marketing, or Finance.
• MBA is preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of pertinent business and/or leadership experience is required.
• At least 2 years of management experience, including coaching or mentoring others.
• Participation in a Sales Leadership Development Program is preferred.
• Proven leadership abilities and capacity to guide others through change.
• Exceptional listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and capability to deliver impactful sales presentations.
• Clinical excellence, product expertise, and experience with new product introductions.
• In-depth understanding of customers and the ability to leverage customer data and insights to influence the purchasing process.
• Capacity to mentor and develop field sales talent.
• History of success in complex organizational settings and decision-making with an enterprise mentality.
• Demonstrated leadership in business planning and project management.
• Documented sales accomplishments.
• Valid driver's license issued in the United States.
• Willingness to travel; significant travel of 30%–50% is required.
• Must reside in the current geography or be open to relocation.
