• Oversees all distributor and direct customer-related operations within the assigned geographical area (sales, equipment investment, service, etc.).
• Ensures that all accounts receivable for distributors and direct customers comply with company standards, monitoring and verifying performance against established targets.
• Leverages knowledge of the geographical area, relationships with key stakeholders, and business insight tools to connect with potential new customers and identify new business opportunities.
• Facilitates business growth in alignment with sales objectives and increased profitability by scouting and fully activating new potential clients in accordance with Lavazza's commercial policies and activation standards (POS materials, products and assortment, pricing, and equipment).
• Assists in farming initiatives for select key clients to enhance their value (e.g., ensuring compliance with contractual volumes utilizing Lavazza equipment, aiding in contract renewals as expiration approaches, etc.).
• Monitors budgets allocated for account activation, ensuring optimal visibility and effectiveness of the investment at the point of sale.
• Regularly tracks results and discusses them with the Senior Regional Sales Manager to confirm execution and achieved outcomes.
• Maintains the Lavazza Customer Relationship Management Software by daily updating sales activities and business opportunities.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in Business or Marketing Management.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Foodservice sales is preferred (experience in coffee is a plus).
• Experience in account and distributor management.
• Strong knowledge of CRM systems is required (Salesforce preferred).
• Excellent interpersonal skills, a high degree of integrity, and the ability to manage relationships with business partners.
• Highly motivated, self-directed, and results-oriented.
• Travel expectations: up to 80% of the time within the local territory, with occasional overnight travel required each year.
