
Regional Sales Manager – Northeast US

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +12 more states.
• Propel the expansion of the Zero Motorcycles brand across the Northeastern US and Eastern Canada.
• Act as the main point of contact between Zero Motorcycles and dealerships within the assigned territory.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Dealer Development, Customer Experience, and Dealer Marketing teams to achieve regional goals.
• Work in partnership with dealership personnel to meet wholesale and retail sales targets.
• Establish and maintain enduring relationships with key dealership staff through in-person visits, effective communication, responsiveness, and follow-through.
• Evaluate market trends, competitor actions, and dealership demands.
• Execute sales campaigns and promotions at dealerships.
• Identify, assess, and recruit new dealers in specified markets.
• Provide sales and product training for dealership staff.
• Ensure timely and appropriate responses to Zero leads by dealership personnel.
• Organize and conduct regional and dealership sales events, demonstrations, and demo rides.
• Keep precise CRM records and reports.
• Oversee and enforce dealer adherence to policies and procedures.
• Significant travel is necessary, which may include three to four nights per week during peak seasons and occasional weekend travel.
• A valid driver’s license with a motorcycle endorsement is required.
• A clean driving record is essential.
• A valid passport must be held.
• Familiarity with powersports dealerships and a comprehensive understanding of sales processes are required.
• A strong commitment to exceptional customer service is necessary.
• Previous experience in the powersports industry and/or a dealership is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Zero Motorcycles products and technology, or a willingness to learn through company training, is expected.
• Insight and knowledge of the powersports industry are advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and finalize sales is required.
• Capacity to excel under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively is essential.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to achieve goals are a must.
• An outgoing personality with a positive attitude and a can-do spirit is vital.
• Ability to work autonomously and complete tasks efficiently is necessary.
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• An openness to new ideas and adaptability to changing situations or information is required.
• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software, preferably Salesforce, is expected.
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including both day and night shifts, is important.
• Must have authorization to work for any US company without current or future sponsorship.
• Capability to load and unload motorcycles from a van independently is necessary.
• Competence to set up and dismantle exhibit materials and conduct demo rides is required.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors as required is essential.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally is a must.
