This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Dakota, +1 more state.
• Guide, mentor, and enhance the skills of Territory Managers through regular in-field engagement (approximately 60% travel), continuous feedback, role-playing exercises, and practical sales training to ensure effective execution and skill advancement.
• Take responsibility for regional revenue performance by fostering consistent activity, aiding in both new sales and account growth, and ensuring that Territory Managers achieve their input and output objectives.
• Uphold exceptional Salesforce hygiene and forecasting by reviewing sales pipelines weekly, ensuring data accuracy, and providing support on deal structures, escalations, and key opportunities.
• Act as the regional representative—bringing forward customer insights, product feedback, and operational challenges to Product, Engineering, Marketing, Customer teams, and senior leadership.
• Adapt national strategies into actionable regional plans, conduct streamlined team meetings (such as 1:1s and check-ins), and collaborate closely with U.S. commercial leadership on performance and strategic priorities.
• Identify and nurture high-performing talent, contributing to the expansion of Territory Manager teams as Halter rapidly grows across the United States.
• Proven Frontline Sales Leadership: Experience in leading and developing field sales representatives, preferably in high-growth or fast-paced environments, with a history of coaching reps to achieve consistent performance improvements.
• Hands-On, Field-First Approach: Willingness to spend the majority of time traveling—participating in customer visits, demonstrating best practices, and maintaining a strong connection to real-world customer challenges.
• Proficient in Sales Processes & Methodologies: Expertise in contemporary sales practices (such as consultative/challenger sales models, role-plays, and discovery techniques) with the ability to coach Territory Managers to excel in these areas.
• Discipline in Pipeline, Salesforce, & Forecasting: Strong operational rigor related to CRM hygiene, pipeline management, input metrics, and forecasting accuracy, which is particularly crucial in a hardware and software environment.
