Regional Sales Manager – North America

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.

📋 Description

• Take responsibility for the revenue generation in your designated region, ensuring that the targets set by the company are met while adhering to the specific sales policies for each channel.

• Evaluate, diagnose, and uncover opportunities within each region to implement, monitor, and assess action plans aimed at enhancing the company's market share for its products.

• Develop and track performance metrics for distributors, including sell-in, sell-out, customer activation, and product mix.

• Set actions, monitor objectives and performance metrics, communicate team performance, and work towards achieving the company's goals.

• Assign goals and responsibilities to team members, offer guidance, and establish deadlines.

• Assist in formulating the company's strategic plan by providing suggestions and insights, thus contributing to the achievement of company results.

• Keep track of the company's market share and/or product performance, observe competitor activities and customer trends, and adjust strategies accordingly.

• Aid in the development of new products or services by conducting research and making recommendations in line with market changes.

• Make pricing and special promotional decisions aligned with market demands to ensure desired outcomes and uphold the company's competitive edge.

• Analyze and monitor levels of customer satisfaction, address customer and consumer complaints, and implement service enhancements to foster customer loyalty.

• Oversee the sales team by determining team size, recruiting, and selecting new team members to ensure an effective team for achieving goals.

• Manage team operations by delegating tasks, monitoring outcomes, and evaluating performance.

• Create incentive plans aligned with established objectives to enhance team motivation and results.

• Identify training and development needs, monitor individual and team growth to prepare successors and ensure effective task execution.

• Oversee the management of material and financial resources by monitoring their usage and control to prevent waste and unnecessary expenses.

• Develop customer loyalty programs and initiatives that align with company objectives to support goal achievement.

• Identify key clients, track their engagement with the company to maintain business relationships that align with objectives.

• Contribute to the Strategic Plan aligned with the company's overall strategic objectives to achieve expected outcomes.

• Prepare budgets that define necessary investments and expenditures to maintain the company's financial oversight.

• Establish sales policies and procedures, identify opportunities and needs within the sales department, ensuring effective service delivery and results.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in Sales Territory Management within the Pet Food Industry.

• Willingness to travel at least 75% of the time.

• Reside near a major airport.

• Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or equivalent work experience with a proven track record of success.

• Proven experience in navigating complex selling environments successfully.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills (both oral and written) suitable for diverse audiences.

• Ability to prioritize effectively, juggle multiple tasks, and maintain focus in a dynamic environment.

• Familiarity with Repsly and Power BI.

• Proficient in computer applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Highly organized individual.
