
Regional Sales Manager β Mountain West

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.
β’ Lead and implement the regional sales strategy to meet sales, revenue, and profitability goals.
β’ Manage, mentor, and nurture a high-performing sales team, promoting accountability, engagement, and professional development.
β’ Successfully activate and fulfill large, complex contracts within Distribution and Non-Commercial segments.
β’ Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Planning, Business Partnering, Marketing, Customer Service, and other internal teams to align priorities and deliver cohesive customer strategies.
β’ Supervise regional forecasting, sales activity metrics, pipeline management, and performance analytics.
β’ Foster and maintain robust, strategic relationships with distributors, commercial and non-commercial operators, and channel partners.
β’ Identify opportunities for growth, evaluate risks, and modify plans to ensure consistent outcomes.
β’ Ensure effective planning and allocation of trade spend to enhance return on investment while analyzing, evaluating, and managing pricing strategies.
β’ Act as a people manager with responsibility for the overall development, direction, coordination, and assessment of the regional sales team, including hiring, training, performance management, coaching, and employee relations.
β’ Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited four-year institution.
β’ 8+ years of relevant sales and leadership experience and/or training.
β’ Strategic thinker with a strong focus on execution and operational efficiency.
β’ Solid financial acumen with experience in managing sales performance and profit and loss (P&L) statements.
β’ Proven leadership capabilities and excellent interpersonal skills.
β’ Established ability to influence attitudes and actions across functional areas to achieve organizational goals.
β’ Capacity to lead a geographically dispersed team while managing competing priorities and unexpected demands.
β’ Exceptional verbal and written communication, facilitation, presentation, and organizational skills.
β’ Strong group presentation abilities.
β’ Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50β60%); occasional weekend travel may be necessary.
