
Regional Sales Manager, Mid-Atlantic Field Sales Role

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Develop and execute a sales strategy aimed at prospecting, cultivating, and securing new business accounts within the designated territory.
• Create a targeted account list along with specific penetration strategies for each potential entity.
• Act as a "hunter," leveraging and nurturing an existing professional network to uncover new business opportunities.
• Build and oversee a sales pipeline; consistently update sales forecasts and reports using Salesforce.
• Meet sales quota objectives, and drive and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Present both online and in-person, utilizing a comprehensive understanding of Proficio’s capabilities and effective sales practices.
• Employ a consultative approach to accurately align Proficio’s solutions with the needs of potential clients.
• Organize and execute sales events to highlight new service offerings while informing partners, current clients, and prospective clients about Proficio.
• Proactively manage a pipeline and participate in face-to-face or webinar meetings with C-level executives.
• A minimum of 3 years of direct sales experience in the cybersecurity industry (MSSP experience is highly preferred).
• Proven ability to negotiate effectively with C-level executives (CISO, CIO, IT).
• Strong technical knowledge (capable of discussing security, networking, and software/hardware solutions).
• A demonstrated history of surpassing assigned sales quotas and acquiring new logos.
