This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Achieve or surpass the sales revenue forecast for the territory as set by the Regional Sales Manager and Business Unit leadership.
• Conduct sales calls independently or alongside distributor sales personnel, fostering relationships with key customers and end users within the territory.
• Relay call outcomes to distributors, including any applicable action items.
• Oversee project-related activities in the assigned territory, including product offerings, recommending pricing strategies based on value selling principles, and establishing sales strategies in alignment with company policies and objectives.
• Manage sales calls and lead tracking as per the company’s CRM program (MS Dynamics).
• Propose potential new OEMs and distributors (both primary and niche) for the territory.
• Collaborate closely with distributor management to evaluate their performance and formulate key account plans.
• Cultivate and sustain partnerships with OEMs and end users across pivotal regional accounts.
• Develop and execute strategies to displace competitors at both new and existing targeted accounts, aiming for increased market share and penetration.
• Provide necessary training to distributor staff on commercial matters.
• Oversee the distributor agreement and adhere to company sales policies.
• Establish connections with personnel across customer and distributor organizations, as well as with significant industry influencers.
• Ensure Corken-Liquid Controls receives a sufficient share of the distributor’s time and resources to effectively sell and promote our offerings.
• Supply the company with innovative product ideas, insights on market trends, territory market data, sales growth strategies, and competitive intelligence.
• Engage in New Product Development, marketing, and sales teams as needed.
• Implement e-business initiatives with designated channel partners.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
• Continuously enhance personal sales skills through self-development.
• A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or a minimum of five years of experience in industrial equipment (such as flow control, pumps, compressors, etc.).
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and all levels of corporate and organizational personnel.
• A valid driver’s license with no restrictions is required.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% within the United States.
